Parametrix
Parametrix is the software developed by Donatoni in 2006 and since then always improved and updated to improve the daily work of our customers.
It programs and manages the 2D processing operations that are carried out every day with DONATONI bridge saws, cutting lines, cutting and shaping centres. And yet its functions go far beyond these processes.
Why is it different from others?
It was developed directly in response to market demands, but has been developed in-house, allowing updates and implementations to be made in a very short time in order to give our customers the best possible tools to work with.

Parametrix makes it possible to program machines and automate the entire work process depending on the surface of the slab. It is possible to set the position of the pieces and the sequence of the cuts, optimising the times and reducing the material waste.
Easy and intuitive
The interface graphic is well-designed and intuitive, with icons that are easy to understand and well organised on the screen.
Ideal even for beginners
The interface is intuitive and consequently learning is quick and easy, especially for beginners or less experienced operators. In addition, Donatoni is constantly organising training courses in order to keep up to date and to be able to delve deeper into any topics of interest.
Reduced programming time
The extensive library of functions is organised and easy to consult. Take for example a kitchen countertop or the cladding of a staircase: it can be programmed within minutes even while the machine is still working.
A wide range of work processes
Parametrix allows the execution of many different types of cut, with blade and milling cutters, lowering with milling cutters, drilling of all types with milling cutters or drills. These functions are also available: manual and automatic nesting, management of production and order statistics, and part rendering.
Total integration with the machine
In-house software development allowed us to achieve a fully integrated solution with Donatoni machines, avoiding incompatibilities or unexpected interruptions during processing.
Compatible with other software
Parametrix allows full integration with other native Donatoni or third-party software in order to perform more complex machining, or to integrate Parametrix itself with additional functions. Integration with other software provides a complete ecosystem for realising 2D and 3D processing.
